Last Sunday we had the opportunity to shoot a promotional video for a local Airsoft team called The Regulators in a suburb of Nashville, TN. We had a great time and was very fortunate to have a beautiful day to shoot. Lasting only five hours, we got great amount of footage that played with different frame rates, mainly between 48fps and the standard 24fps on the Panasonic HVX200 P2 HD camera. We also tested and performed our shoot with the Redrock Shoulder Mount, which enabled us to achieve smooth movements while shooting at 48fps.
Over thirty participants showed up and the good news is that we didn’t get hit at all while filming. Future plans of the project are to implement Video Copilots Element 3D and hope to have the piece completed before Thanksgiving.
Attached is a few stills from our footage as well as photos. If you’re an Airsoft fanatic and want information on the location where we did our filming, check out The Compound.
