Production Log: Marker!
It has been over two months since my last post but I’m excited to announce that the first phase of production is completed! The second weekend in August was a great experience working with the actors, green screen and the Panasonic AG HVX200 P2 camera. The piece was shot in HD 720p/24p and 24np. Now comes the editing! The production went over five days while shooting for four and a half. My goal is to complete the editing of the production shoot for the rest of the year while saving up for some really cool plug-ins. I won’t be picking back up production until next year when planning locations, pre-production, schedules and fighting choreography will take place.
Now that I’m diving into the editing phase of what I have, what is there to look forward to? I’ll post some video logs on my odyssey in completing this project along with production stills to give you an idea of what the film will look like. I also plan on posting tutorials on how I created the visual effects in post so you can try for yourself! I’ll be working on Adobe softwares for this project which include After Effects®, Illustrator®, Premiere® and Photoshop®, all of which I am still learning and working out the kinks for my workflow.
Until then, enjoy the pics!
